Having plants in the house can be very beneficial. Plants can remove toxins from air –up to 87% of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) every 24 hours. I have always had plants in my house, but I have always loved gardening and growing things. There are some great plants to grow indoors. Some of them are the spider plant, english ivy, ferns, bamboo palm, dragon tree, and much more. All theses plants are known to remove harmful elements such as benzene and formaldehyde. Below is a picture of English Ivy.

Is a friend really a friend when they cant keep your conversations confidential?
Is a friend really a friend when they can not keep your conversations confidential? You confide in your friend when you need to vent, but what happens when you confide and you here about it the next day from someone else. What do you do? Do you confide in that friend again? Do you confront them? Do you regret every time you vent hoping that that someone hasn't spilt the beans? What to do when you have no one to vent to.

Picking your Brain...
What do you wish you'd known about your career when you were younger and just starting out?
Doing some research while I am in college and doing my career hunting, networking, and interviewing.
A great book for the college student no matter what stage you are in.
Doing some research while I am in college and doing my career hunting, networking, and interviewing.
Some Answers I Have Received So Far For Example: " I wish I had kept all the contact info for everyone I ever met anywhere, with notes!", " I wish I had a better understanding of what careers were out there other than the obvious ones ( doctor, lawyer, teacher, ect...) exists and how people who have such careers reached the positions they hold now."
A great book for the college student no matter what stage you are in.

Garden time.
It is about time to start getting those gardens ready for planting. Their are so many things out there to plant it is hard to choose just a few to fit your family. One thing that I really love is herbs. I am growing an herb garden in the house so that I can have them on hand. I plant them in old spaghetti sauce jars or cans and put them on a shelf on the wall or in the window. Another way to display your herbs is on a peace of old scrap wood with some metal clamp rings around the jars to hold them tight on the peace of wood, you can hang it anywhere as a decorative peace. One thing I also like to do is freeze my herbs so that I may get them out and throw them right in a dish. You can either freeze them together to make a nice combo or separately and you can submerge them in water or oil. Place liquid of choice in ice cube trays and drop herbs in to freeze. Happy Gardening

To save or not to save.
Why do people waste money instead of saving it? Spending is what we do best, that's why. We have the money so we spend it, why save when the item you want most is right at your finger tips. It's those items that we want and have to have but don't need, that gets us spending. It's that in trend item that we have to have because that's what every one else has, like those smart TV's and phones and that new 2014 vehicle or that hair style and color. Sending and wasting money is what we do.
Why save is what I ask? Saving can keep you and your family comfortable. You will have that money for those emergency doctor visits and the money for Christmas. You will have that money to buy that ounce trending item that you wanted that is now on sell because it is slightly now, out of style. Not going out and spending constantly is what we should do. Most people do not know how to spend and budget there money and don't intend on learning how to because, "spending is what we do best". Have a nice day and happy saving.

Snack Time
Ever looking around the house and wandering what to snack on that doesn't consist of candy and all those unwanted sugars that just add pounds. One of my favorite snacks is celery. I love to cover my celery in peanut butter and chow down. Another way to add a little healthy kick is to line the peanut butter with raisins( ants on a log, when it comes to the kids version.) You get a healthy dose of water from the celery, you get an energy boost from peanut butter along with iron, and anti aging benefits as well. And lets not leave out the raisins, like dried apricots, figs, and prunes, they have a source of energy, vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. Happy Eating!!!!!!!!!!!
